Piascore - Smart Music Score App Reviews

App is easy enough to use, including downloading the free online scores. Searching could be improved, but that may be a byproduct of the free online scores site itself, as it is not the easiest to narrow down searches on the imslp site. They also have good customer service. I couldnt figure out how to import bookmarks from my own PDFs files, and I got a response the same day.

As a professional musician I use this app on my iPad Pro for my daily conducting /playing/ practicing/ studying/ accompanying/ teaching work at the podium, as well as the piano and the trombone. I simply scan my music using TurboScan (an indispensable app!) and send it to Dropbox, then download it to the PiaScore app. Then I compile set lists for each day, as well as tags to quickly find music for each of the many categories I need for my eclectic schedule. When I first starting using this app about six months ago, I noticed that adding annotations slowed down the page-turning process, so since that time I have avoided using annotations in scores I use for rehearsal or performance (annotations for study is ok as I can make an extra copy of a PDF and mark it up for that purpose.) If PiaScore has improved upon this bug I havent read about it, but since I cant take the chance of a slow page turn in performance I simply avoid annotations in those scores altogether. All in all an terrific app — if PiaScore would (or has) fixed the annotation-page-turn problem then I would recommend it unreservedly!

No more printing orchestral scores! This app is amazing and so useful. I love practicing with it, adding my bowings as easily as on a paper. A must have.

I use this app when I am up on stage playing. No more shuffling papers or lugging around a heavy notebook with all of my chord charts for our Praise and Worship songs. Its all neatly organized here in this app.

I had a free version before but just upgraded and synced with the Bluetooth Music Pedal by Coda.Just used it today and enjoying this app. Highly recommended And easy to use. Chat support very responsive.

Great program, but not the last version:-( Old controlling design was much more comfortable... Please, bring it back! Alphabet - as it was before ( for easy steps to find composers name).

I love this app. I use it everyday and I am a cellist and pianist. So I just bring my iPad on the go without my big bag of music. Love that I can write on the music.

they resolve issues quickly and app just gets better This is just a great app all around. The in-app purchase is worth it. I have also used the button to ask a question and got a quick answer. Great app and better than others I have used by a mile. I continue to use thapp and rely on it as my music sheet library backed up with Dropbox. Love all the features and their most recent update was very good. Finally, when I upgraded my iPad an restored this app, everything, inluding my notations was kept intact. It is sooo goood. H

This is very useful because I can quickly find music on Imslp. Also that I can put in fingerings in markings into the music easily. My only criticism is that the buttons on "download music" are clunky and old-fashioned. other than that I find everything else to work fairly well.
